Ron, you seem to be the guru on every forum I go to looking for this p0193 code. I have a 06 lbz duramax. Loaded a tune onto truck, truck ran fine. Pinned the 5 pos switch into ecu. Truck got a p0193 code. I replaced the fp sensor, fpr, fuel filters, new batteries (truck was due for them) I shot wiring on the fuel pressure sensor.I had it scanned and it had the codes P0201, p0204, p0206, and p0016. My question is could the the p0201,4,6 codes be related to the p0016 code? I did find a exposed wire that had been taped up before near the ficm on the alternator bracket. P0090 is fuel pressure regulator related, not the rail pressure sensor. You either have a sticky FPR, a bad coil in the FPR or no power to the FPR. you need 5v to the FPR for it to be controlled.
