Is onstar worth it
It's designed to be a profit center and the subscription tiers have no value for me over the free tier. There is pretty much no reason to pay for onstar. Piece of mind during an air bag deploy, maybe, is the only viable use case. It’s a balance between the value of “piece of mind” vs the price they charge.
Onstar, I can see it to a point. Run flats, if there is a spare, I would not. Now if you don't mind staying by the roadside, waiting for the tow truck to bring you to the nearest town that probably won't have the tires in stock, again unnecessary.
