Ford 3000 draft control adjustment
I'm sure someone knows your controls and will help.but I was thinking it possible that your 3pt control had been set low. I can't wait to see what people say who actually know their stuff. Each control should have a screw adjustment I'm thinkin'. On my 2400H the instructions are to move the control lever to max height and then adjust the lift control rod so that you can still lift the arms approx 1/2". The lever you're referring to is probably the draft/position control lever. I'd suggest getting the original style owners manual as a beginner, then the service manual.
